Stretch Work Yoga is a pop-up and floating yoga studio located in South Florida. The location of our classes varies each day while offering different styles of yoga including but not limited to Vinyasa, Hatha, Yoga Strap Infused Flow, Gentle and SUP (StandUp Paddleboard) Yoga. This affords us the unique opportunity to teach our students in the environments where they are most comfortable in the level that they are in.
At Stretch Work Yoga, we are proud ambassadors of BOGA SUP Yoga boards which are designed specifically for fitness on the water making them more stable and balanced than traditional paddle-boards. The combination of the sound of water, the cool breeze and the gentle waves creates an incredibly tranquil environment, conducive to deep breathing and resting the mind. SUP yoga is both invigorating and relaxing and promotes the strengtheing of muscles while improving balance.
In a vinyasa style class, we aim to mindfully move our bodies at the pace of the breath. This class is an introduction to the vinyasa style and will incorporate fundamental yoga postures into the sun salutation, moving at a steady pace to get used to the flow. You will work on developing strength and steadiness by staying connected with the breath. Familiarity with basic yoga postures is highly recommended, but no experience with vinyasa yoga is necessary.

Prenatal yoga has been shown to help expecting mother's prepare for labor and promote baby's health. Research suggests prenatal yoga improves sleep, reduces stress and anxiety, increases the strength, flexibility and endurance of the muscles needed for childbirth and decreases headaches, back pain, nausea and shortness of breath.
